Palomar Piranhas Swim Team
The Palomar Piranhas Swim Team is nestled in the heart of the Palomar Hills Subdivision but hosts families from surrounding neighborhoods like Beaumont and Harrods Hill in addition to Palomar families. Over 150 swimmers take part in daily practice and compete in six dual meets in June and July. The atmosphere is fun and swimmers are cheered on by their friends and families. The Palomar Piranhas are part of the Man-O-War Swim Conference and hold eight titles, most recently back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013. Summer swimming provides a great opportunity for kids to learn sportsmanship, develop friendships and stay healthy through regular activity.
Children ages 4-6 who are not quite ready for the regular swim team can sign up for our Mini Piranhas program. Children meet twice weekly for lessons on basic swimming skills. There is no requirement for Mini's to swim the length of the pool or to compete in meets.
