Street Trees This is a reminder that street trees must be replaced when they are removed from the easement. The Palomar Hills approved street tree list can be found on our website at http://www.palomarhills.com/homeowners. Newly planted trees must be a minimum of 2 1/2 inches in diameter. To stay in compliance with neighborhood restrictions, all missing street trees must be replaced no later than November 30, 2016 In addition, city ordinance states that street trees must be limbed-up to allow seven feet of clearance above sidewalks and twelve feet above the street. Homeowners whose street trees do not meet this requirement are also out of compliance with Palomar deed-restrictions. Please double check your street trees to see if they need to be trimmed. There are many walkers in the neighborhood who would appreciate your efforts! Leaf Removal Please note that homeowners are responsible for raking and removing leaves from their property. Palomar Hills does not have a leaf removal program nor does the neighborhood receive LFUCG leaf services. Please do not rake leaves to the curb or street in anticipation of pick-up by city workers. Allowing leaves to accumulate in the gutter or storm drains creates an eyesore and clogs storm drains, which causes flooding for your neighbors downstream. Board Meeting The next board meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 14 at 7 p.m. Agenda items are: October Minutes & Financial Report, Harrodsburg Road Development, Overnight Street Parking, Man O War/Lyon Drive traffic light. In addition, A member of the Lexington Police Department will be in attendance to discuss crime prevention. Regular monthly board meetings are at the Clubhouse and open to all residents. Holiday Bazaar! Come and shop for a variety of locally made items on Saturday, December 3 from 10 - 2 at the Clubhouse. Holiday merchandise, plus much - much more. Both should be stored out of view of others. Missing Cat An eleven year old male cat has been missing from Valencia Drive since Saturday. Tigger has black, tan, and white paws and red collar with ID.
