The Palomar Hills Community Association office has received several phone calls and emails concerning dog owners.
Many dog owners allow their dogs to defecate in yards, on sidewalks, in common areas, including the park where children play. They continue walking, leaving behind a mess for someone to step in or clean up. Please be considerate of your neighbors by carrying plastic bags to pick up dog waste and depositing in your own garbage can when you get home. Do not allow your dog to get into the mulch around street trees and planting beds belonging to others. While long leashes are great, they also allow dogs to run onto other properties and damage or destroy work the homeowners have done to maintain their lawns and landscaping. Let's work together and cooperate with each other to make our neighborhood a pleasant place for everyone to call home. Thank you. |
