Recent events in our country have made blood donation more important than ever!
Join us on Sunday, October 15, 11:00 - 4:00 in the Palomar Clubhouse.
This is an open blood drive - anyone can donate.
Appointments may be scheduled at https://my.kybloodcenter.org/donor/auth/signin
Walk in's are welcome however appointments take priority.
You must be 17 years old to donate (16 with parental consent), and weigh at least 110 lbs.
Snacks will be provided; be sure to eat something before donating.

Adult Pool Closing - The adult pool will close for the season on Sunday, September 17th at 7:00 p.m.
Monthly Board Meeting - The September board meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 18th, 7 p.m. at the Clubhouse. Agenda: August Board Meeting Minutes, Modification Requests, and Financial Report.

Hazard Street Tree Replacement Cost Share Average Amount: Cost share of removal Urban Forrester Program, LFUCG Due: Conducted on a first-come basis as long as funds are available Contact: Tim Queary at firstname.lastname@example.org or 859-258-3404. Hazard Street Tree Cost-Share and Grant Program for property owners throughout the Urban Service Area (USA) to remove and replace street trees that pose a threat to public safety. This is a voluntary program that provides financial assistance to residential property owners for street tree removal, including stump grinding and new street tree installation, in accordance with Chapter 17B of the Code of Ordinances. This program provides matching monies to reimburse property owners 50% of the total cost of removal of hazardous street trees.
Sidewalk Replacement Cost Share Average Amount: 50% cost share of removal Code Enforcement Due: Conducted on a first-come basis as long as funds are available Contact: Must be cited to apply for funds. In most cases, the Sidewalk Replacement Grant Program can provide assistance to residential property owners. This grant may reimburse a reasonable amount (currently $5.00 per square foot) of cost related to the replacement of any residential sidewalk which has been placed under notice by Code Enforcement. Up to 100% of the replacement cost may be available to home owners that are considered qualified property owners.
Weekend Pool Schedule
Sunday: 10 am - 9 pm
Monday: 10 am - 7 pm
The last day of operation for the baby and family pool is Monday, September 4th. The adult pool will remain open as long as the weather permits.
Office Hours- In observance of Labor Day, the Clubhouse and offices will be closed on Monday, September 4th.
Trimming - Please be sure that low-hanging tree branches are cut up to a height of 7 feet over sidewalks and 12 feet over streets. In addition, many of the Palomar Boulevard burning bushes need to be trimmed, as they have grown too large and are blocking the sidewalk for pedestrians.

Neighborhood Blood Drive!
Stop by the Clubhouse Sunday, October 15, anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to donate blood to the Central Kentucky Blood Center. All blood types are needed.
Greens Residents - The Greens 23rd Annual Chili Fest is scheduled for Saturday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. on Peppertree Court. Whip up your favorite chili and all the hottest fixins to share with your friends and neighbors. Grills will be provided for warming the chili. Please bring your own liquid refreshments and a dessert or dish to share. Don’t forget the kids, chairs, and a warm sweater!
