ANNUAL REMINDER
Mill Ridge has been very fortunate to have a great relationship with our Palomar neighbors. Really, we could not ask for better. However, we would like to remind you of a few things… FIREWORKS With summer here and the 4th of July around the corner, many will celebrate with fireworks. While the displays are enjoyed by most, horses are absolutely terrified. They panic and try to run away, which can result in serious injuries and, in some instances, even fatalities. As our neighbor, we want you to be aware of the situation. Most importantly, we ask that you do not release fireworks near or over the fields that border Mill Ridge. Any incidents that threaten the lives of the horses will be reported to the proper authorities. FENCELINE

During the quarantine, use of the walking path by residents from other neighborhoods within Palomar Hills has significantly increased. Some people are using the townhome green space to exit the walking path as a cut-through.
This is a reminder that the walking path is for all members of Palomar Hills, HOWEVER, only sidewalks should be used for ingress and egress to and from the walking path. The green space off the path on all sides are owner’s yards. One side of the walking path are yards of single-family homes and even though the townhome side is maintained by the association, those areas are also private yards owned by townhome owners. Also, it is the responsibility of pet owners to clean up pet droppings in the townhome yards just like they would in any other private residents yards. This has been a major problem with members using the walking path to walk their dogs. Finally, bicyclists are sometimes flying down the walking path which could create a danger. If people use bikes on the walking path, they should use lower speeds and be cautious. They should also be courteous to those that are walking on the path.
