Trash

Trash containers and recycling bins must be stored completely out of sight except on the evening prior to and the day of trash collection. They may be store outside only if totally screened from view. Most residents store these items in their garage.

The applicable neighborhood restriction states trash containers "…shall be located or screened so as to be concealed from view of neighboring Units, streets, and property located adjacent to the unit. Garbage cans or recycling bins shall not be left at the curb after the designated day for pick-up. All rubbish, trash, and garbage shall be regularly removed from the Unit and shall not be allowed to accumulate thereon."

The LFUCG Code of Ordinance states, "Herbies should be rolled to the curb no earlier than 7 p.m. on the evening before scheduled collection and no later than 5 a.m. on collection days. They must be removed from the curb by 7 p.m. on collection days…."
