GUIDELINES FOR USE OF PALOMAR HILLS AMENITIES AND COMMON AREAS
Revised 2008
  1. Residents using neighborhood recreational amenities must present their membership cards upon request by the Palomar staff, security team, and Lexington police.
  2. Vehicles in the parking lot near the tennis courts must display a Palomar Hills
    sticker in the rear window. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at owner's expense.
  3. The park, parking lot, and jogging trail close at 11 p.m. when the tennis courts lights go off. Anyone in these areas after 11 p.m. will be considered trespassing and subject to arrest; likewise, vehicles will be towed at owner's expense.
  4. Congregating or loitering in the tennis court parking lot is not permitted. This lot is reserved for residents using the recreational amenities.
  5. Residents may have up to four guests. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guest and will be held accountable for damage or destruction to association property caused by them or their guests.
  6. Homeowners wishing to use the basketball and tennis court must purchase a key for $5. Homeowners may purchase a key. Children may not purchase a key. Homeowners must be current with their dues and bring a membership pass to purchase a key. Homeowners who need a pass should bring a driver's license, so the staff can make one. Keys must be purchased and picked up during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Homeowners who are not available during these times must contact Mary Sue or Victoria by phone to make arrangements to pick up a key after office hours
    Parents should explain to children how to properly use the courts and the importance of keeping the gates locked.
  7. Residents in violation of these rules may be banned from common areas and prohibited from using amenities. Parents of minors caught destroying common-area property will be held responsible for repair and replacement costs.

Anyone violating these rules is subject to citation or arrest. Parents are responsible for knowing where their children are and what they are doing. It is the responsibility of all Palomar residents to immediately report suspicious people or activity to the Palomar emergency number (230-9652), to the police non-emergency number at 258-3600, and if appropriate, to 911.
